These are also known as T-Port or Mixing Ball Valves. They are used to divert media flow in multiple directions at the same time. 3-way valves eliminate the need for multiple two-way valves to accomplish the same task. The ball cut out is shaped like the letter “T” allowing for many flow patterns. This ball valve is bi-directional and allows for any two or three ports to be connected, but it only allows for flow in one direction at a time, this means any of the ports can be either an outlet or an inlet. This valve cannot be closed. This 3-way valve is made from high-quality, lead-free stainless steel with PTFE seals. This allows the valve to operate under a wide range of temperatures (-25° F to 356° F ) and Pressures (max. 1000PSI). These valves are commonly used for homebrewing, and food-grade and potable water applications but due to the resistance to high-heat, and many different chemicals and gases the uses are nearly endless.
