And if it only happens once in a while, that means the original belt has stretched out and will fail soon, like mine did, it's only a matter of time. You will receive TWO (2) replacement belts. Not only to have a spare, but they are easy to lose, especially if they shoot away like a rubber band during installation, or you drop one inside the unit. I personally replaced the belt in my XU-301 unit (see photo) that would no longer eject the disc, and that was 2+ years ago, and it's still working great. These belts are much smaller than the fat stock black belts which I think were too large, but these new belts provide the necessary stretch and tension to get the job done. Be careful buying original old stock belts which may have degraded over the past decades. I will also include an INSTRUCTIONAL TIP SHEET WITH PHOTOS, showing you how to install the belt. All you need to do is take off the top cover of the unit, and the pulleys are in plain view. I will also show you how I bend a paper clip to help with the installation. No special tools are required.
