These are the same high-quality switches that we use in our kits. These switches can be used for any motorcycle, auto, ATV, snowmobile etc. application requiring a simple on/off function and are waterproof. This is an inline type switch. Even though it has two wires, it connects into the positive side only. The rubber boot has a screw-on nut underneath so they can be installed through a hole or can be attached using double-sided tape on the bottom of the switch. The manufacturer said this switch is rated at 15 amps at 12 volts. However on the back of the switch it says 2 amps at 125 volts so we will go with the 2 amps to be safe. Although, some have used these at 10 amps with no problem. The switch is 3/4 inch long x 1/2 inch wide with a 3/8 inch thick base and 3/4 inch from bottom of base to top of rubber boot. The two wires are about 3 1/2 inches in length. If you are mounting through a panel, the hole would need to be 3/8 inch in diameter and the panel should be no more than about 1/16 inch.
