One nice feature of this model is that it can be cocked by hand and does not require a cocking sled, or, any other device to make it ready for action. Just cock the string and drop in a bolt and it's ready to shoot. I, personally, have shot thousands of bolts/arrows through a model just like this one. This is a much quicker and, IMO, easier to operate than the alternative while still achieving good velocities thanks to the 150lb fiberglass Prod.
