Check the listing for details. 1924 wheat penny, #1, red, L error (touching rim), quantity=1. Color: BN. Listed at 20.00 USD. L errors often list on Ebay for over $1,000.00. These have the L in liberty stampedtoo close to the planchette rim. These errors are more common than other errors, so I don't value them as much. Nonetheless, L errors are caused by malfunctioning mint equipment, so they are valuable error coins. They are caused by worn dies which cause the offset stamping. Moderate wear on high points.
