The item is dated on one of the inner flaps but is faded and I can’t tell if it says 1940 or 1943. See photos. One edge took more dust than the rest see last photo. Item was rescued from a shelf in a shed so it is dusty, but truly looks very nice particularly the interior. If you took the time to give it a proper cleaning it would be a very fine example.
