Check the listing for details. 1940s Colson Mechanical Pencil, Works. Condition: Used, Made in United States. Listed at 19.99 USD. The lead extends and retracts when the brass top cone part is rotated. There was no erasure under the cap or additional lead. When comparing the lead size to the 0.9mm we had on hand it was larger than that size. It extended out one inch and we did not want to chance it falling out so that's as far as we extended the lead. The clip on the cap has what appears to be 88 above the name " COLSON ". It is 5 3/16 inches long overall. We are guessing that the barrel of the item is a hard rubber since it feels like some of our hard rubber pens. Please study photos as they are part of the item description.
