We are pleased to present a cigarette case engraved with the XXIV Corps insignia and on back "Rendezvous Seoul Korea 1948." The case owner's name is scratched inside the case. In September 1945, after the surrender of Japan, XXIV Corps moved to Korea, where it remained on occupation duty until its inactivation on 25 January 1949. The 4" x 3.125" case shows general medium wear, including scuffs and wear, slight indentations, and some spotting. It does latch, but has a tendency to pop open. Please see pics. SEE PICTURE!
