On the obverse, the chrysanthemum above the flags has a dot at its center (other varieties lack that dot or have different flowers or stars); on the reverse, the bottom ribbon has 24 loop-lines (other varieties have 9, 11, 12, or 15). The seven varieties of Y-400.5a are described in detail, with close-up photos, on pages 31-33. Although the Standard Catalog dates it as 1919, the above-noted book explains why 1919 to 1925 is more accurate. Combine shipping.
