This article of the past is in very good condition. The gum on the envelope is mint and as you can see in the photo there is a crease in the envelope caused when Garcelon packed their envelopes with approvals for shipment. The Garcelon Stamp Company was actually located in St. Stevens, New Brunswick, Canada which was a border town on the St. Croix River. Apparently is was more expedient to post all company mail out of Calais, Maine, USA I did some surface research into this company for purposes of posting this lot and there seems to bea wealth of ephemera and postal history associated with this long-standing business. There is no USPS tracking on this unless you select that option and cost for shipping.
