On your 1971-1976 Cadillac Eldorado or Biarritz convertible if you have a glass rear window you must have the control arms, springs and glass brackets in place or your rear window may break when you lower the top. Here we have the rear window control brackets, they attach to the rear window (letter 'D' in the above picture) and the arms and springs (sold separately) attach to these brackets to guide the window into the well. Many times if the car came from the factory with a plastic rear window they will not have the brackets, arms or springs. When the car is converted to a glass rear window you must use the correct parts to guide the window or it may break the glass.
