This goes in-between the steering column and clutch master cyl and stiffens up the firewall by a huge amount. A similar brace is used on my personal race car! Made in the USA with USA 6061 Aluminum! Factory automatic cars have a thin firewall and this brace keeps the factory metal from flexing like cardboard. This brace also doubles (pun intended) as a clutch master cut template. You can use this brace to trace out the holes required to convert a 82-92 Automatic car to a manual. Saves you $21 because you can use this brace in place of my other 3d printed cut templates.
