Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new Chemi-Con 6800 uf 100v capacitors. These will work great in the Sony STR-7065, and the Marantz Model 14, 15, 16, 16B, 30, and 32. They fit the old clamps perfectly! Some of the Marantz amps used 5000 uf or 5450 uf caps, but Marantz recommended upgrading to 6800 or 6900 uf caps, so these are great replacements. The Marantz 15 uses four of these, so just set the quantity to 2 if you want 4 caps. The body of each capacitor measures 36mm in diameter and 82mm tall. These are 85°C 11000 hour capacitors, which means they can handle up to 85°C, or 185° Fahrenheit, and they will last at that temperature for at least 11000 hours. These will obviously never see that much heat, so they will be good for the next 40-50 years at least. These use screw terminals, and the screws are included. These are authentic Kemet capacitors, manufactured in early 2024. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones.
