For best results please take note:1) IMPORTANT: clean the inside of the shaft and the insert with denatured alcohol (Methanol) thoroughly to remove any trace of oils. After cleaning do NOT touch the parts with your fingers (wear gloves). 2) Use the activator with a cotton swab on the inside of the arrow shaft, allow to dry for a few minutes3) Apply glue to the insert, using enough to fill the gaps but no more than that.4) Insert the part into the shaft and wipe away excess glue with a paper towel. 5) Although the adhesive will dry within minutes, DO NOT use the arrow for 24 hours to allow the adhesive to cure and reach full strength.It's BLACK because it has rubber compounds added to the formula.THICK 4000cps viscosity - dries slowly and has good gap-filling capability. Black Rubber-toughened CA is 4 times stronger than regular CA and it dries slightly flexible, so it resists cracking and is ideal for high-stress and high-vibration applications in difficult environments. Shock and Impact resistant, Humidity resistant (resists heat and thermal shock better than regular CA).Excellent for working with composite materials (carbon fiber) and aluminum. Please note, CA glue is not the best adhesive for bonding soft plastic, like plastic nocks for example. A solvent-based plastic glue is a better solution for that, such as the "Power-Tac" adhesive that you can find in my ebay store. Rubber-toughened CA is not meant for long-term storage, it is meant to be used quickly. Older glue won't perform well. The accelerator/activator spray can be used with painted or finished surfaces. It activates the glue to make it dry faster and is really handy for cleaning and pre-treating the items you are gluing. The accelerator is especially useful for pre-treating man-made (synthetic) items. USE AS LITTLE ACTIVATOR AS POSSIBLE FOR BEST RESULTS. The pin-cap bottle helps prevents clogs and provides a tight seal.
