Up for sale here is this set of 2 new Cornell-Dubilier snap-in capacitors. These are 4700 uf 50v capacitors, and are perfect drop-in replacements for the main filter capacitors in the Pioneer SX-424 (only uses one), Harman-Kardon 430 (uses 4), and Harman-Kardon 730 (uses 4), among others. For the HK models you will need to use a wire to jump one circuit-board terminal to another in order for these to work perfectly. These are extremely high-quality capacitors and are the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear. Dimensions for these capacitors are 25mm tall and 30mm in diameter. Terminals are 10mm apart. These are shorter than the old caps, due to improvements in design. Please see my pictures for details. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones.
