Standing at 3 floors high and tall enough to provide cover for an Imperial Knight, this huge 3D printed defence wall for your sci-fi games makes a great center piece to your table. Just under half a meter in size the basic configuration includes multiple areas of elevation with plenty of places for cover. The set is made from The Dragon's Rest Outpost range and includes a clever clip system enabling it to be torn down and reconfigured providing different layouts each time it's set up. The main wall is in 4 separate sections and is made to be combined with multiple defence wall sets to create massive armoured barricades. The rear of the wall contains a walkway system made from individual interlocking tiles. Everything is built to connect with other pieces in the Dragon's Rest walkway and corridor system to build sprawling sci-fi bases. There's even a set of arms lockers and 2 barrel sets to use as scatter pieces. A single "Outpost Defence Set A" or used in a pair will make a great centerpiece for any Warhammer 40k or sci-fi table or as an addition to your already established Outpost. With 3D printing we take specially designed computer files of each object and print them on our farm of 3D printers. Each object is printed from a roll of PLA - a special kind of plastic processed from the starch of plants. The PLA is threaded though a heated nozzle to melt it. As the nozzle moves around the print bed each object is built up by a tiny single layer at a time. This is a slow process and due to this method of manufacture you may be able to see layer lines in the models. About Our Products Due to the printing process there may be tiny imperfections in each model. These imperfections can be cleaned up in the same way you would clean mold lines when preparing traditional plastic miniatures.The prints can be cleaned, trimmed, glued, primed and painted just as you would with normal plastic miniatures. We recommend using the "gel" type of superglue to stick any parts together rather than plastic cement. All of our prints are packaged straight from the printer and our product pictures always show our own printed products straight from the print bed so you can see exactly the kind of quality to expect.
