Simplex 4100-1291 Remote User Interface (RUI) The Simplex 4100-1291 Remote User Interface (RUI) consists of two interface cards, as shown in the accompanying pictures. This equipment was removed from a fully functional hospital fire alarm system during a system upgrade/replacement. At the time of removal, the RUI was operational and providing remote annunciation and control functions for a Simplex 4100 Fire Alarm Control Panel. The RUI displays system status conditions including alarm, trouble, and supervisory signals and communicates with the host panel via a dedicated data channel.
