This part is for a black powder Muzzleloader gun Listing is for one trigger guard for the CVA Tower pistol. Of course it will fit many different projects. It will need to be polished as it is a rough casting. If you follow the curvature of the guard, the mounting screw holes are approximately 4 3/4" apart. The rear mounting foot is 3/8" wide. The front mounting foot is 1/2" wide at the widest part. It tapers down to the end. The front foot is 2 1/4" long. Following the curvature over all it is 6 5/16" long. The opening for the trigger is 1 1/4" wide and approximately 1" deep.With some work this could be made to fit the colonial and Kentucky Pistols.It is cast so if you try to bend it the chances are good you will break it.
