I also figured I have no use for the cases so they’re part of the bundle. They’re 2nd generation and I still have the right AirPod, it stopped working one day and I never figured out why. I’ll include it with everything incase someone else can figure it out! So you may possibly have a left and right AirPod, but definitely a left.
