This is a hand built and rewired AKAI tube amplifier section I converted into a direct input (DI) and vocal pre-amp. I built this unit and several other units I have sold to major recording artists and independent ones here in the Nashville area. This is the only one I have left and at this time I am not building anymore because of time restraints. It has it's own sound unlike nothing you have heard. There are no speakers attached but there is a 1/4 inch speaker out for an external speaker cabinet. This is a mono version. Artists and songwriters have used these on the road and in the studio and I have never had a complaint. I have just connected this unit up and checked it for working condition and it works great. I am selling this unit in working condition. It takes electronics knowledge to make this into a pre-amp the way this has been made. It is very time consuming, A lot of capacitors and wiring have to be moved or replaced. Since it is TUBE I prefer local pick-up but will ship. I will pack it very well to avoid damage.
