The Amerex 818 is a vehicle bracket for fire extinguishers with a 4.25” cylinder diameter. It is manufactured using high-quality steel with a primed and powder-coated, corrosion-resistant paint finish. It also features rubber grommet bumpers that protect extinguisher cylinders from abrasion. The strap's pull tab has a white vinyl tip for ease-of-access. To provide support at the collar of the cylinder, this bracket has a fork prong at the top. The fork provides excellent support and keeps the cylinder securely fixed in place, while also offering easy unloading of the cylinder at the time of need. All Amerex brackets meet the latest U/L salt spray requirements (240 hrs. @ 20% salt solution ASTM B117).
