I had the unit checked out. Put in a new carriage belt. Cosmetic condition: Nicks and scratches. Rust on exterior sides. I checked under the cover. The electronic boards look like new and work great. The VU meters work the indicator bulbs don't. Doesn't affect functionality. The transport buttons work fine. The bulb on the FWD button doesnt light up. Overall I think this is great machine. If you are familiar with these units you know that this unit has a 'soft' tape transport system. This puts much less stress on the tapes. I tested the unit with my own tapes that were 30 years old.
