A word about ALC: ALC (Automatic Level Control) is basically a throwback to the TUBE rig days when folks were unable to reduce the drive level to amplifiers. With today's modern day rig's ALC is rarely, if ever needed UNLESS your rigs maximum output exceeds your amplifiers drive limits. And even then most all rigs these days have an RF level adjust so you can cut back on the drive. ALC is likely to cause you more frustration than good.
