Check the listing for details. Antique 1886 Sargent & Co Brass Mortise Lock Set - 2 Door Knobs and Back Plates. Color: Gold. Listed at 42.00 USD. Offered as found... set is complete with mortise, both back plates and knobs. Set is functional with free movement on striker. Face plate on mortise is brass, as are the knobs. The backplates are brass plated. The mortise has a patent date of 1886 and we do not know if this is an original matching set or not. It does seem peculiar for the plates to be plated while other parts are solid brass but this is how we found the set.
