Here is an old Victorian era or style solid brass hinge, perhaps for a small door or cabinet. NOTE: this hinge is missing the connecting pin, and auction is for the two halves only. A nice ornate design, appears to be cast. On the back side of one hinge is " 358 1/16 "; perhaps the original item number and date of Jan. 1916? Did not get a photo of the numbers.... did not see them until after photos taken.... but may be able to add later. Has damage, some abrasions/rough scrapes... fairly deep, on multiple places mainly on one half of the hinge.... but perhaps can be somewhat smoothed out. Use for a restoration project.... or replacement part! Solid old hardware; weight 80 grams or 2.9 ounces. Brass, measures ~ 2 1/8" x 2 1/4" x 1/8". Used, the two halves are loose and missing the connecting pin; has damage... some heavy scrapes and abrasions, also one half is a little bent out of shape, stains and patina.
