Antique 19th century American display top mirror back sideboard with a unique and interesting design.This fantastic buffet has been re-worked over it's lifetime starting off with the base constructed in the early 1800's which is evident in the protruding square peg construction and small hand cut dovetails of the drawers. The display curio top is a later addition from the late 1800's and the various handles have been changed out over the course of time resulting in this wonderful one of a kind buffet, sideboard, server or bar.There is rustic age appropriate wear, scuffs, marks, splits and imperfections throughout and some silver loss to the mirror all adding to its character and old world charm. Constructed from various solid woods with the same medium to dark brown walnut finish which has developed a wonderful aged patina.
