The upper portion of the beaker is encompassed with two bands of tooled decoration above the contemporary engraved initial "V" beneath a coronet to one side. The base of this Austrian silver beaker retains the silversmith"s centre punch mark. The hallmarks to this impressive antique beaker includes the quality/purity mark 13 löthige/loth which is the equivalent to .812.5 standard silver (812.5/1000).
