This listing is for an antique silver plate 6-piece tea set by Barbour Silver Co. The set includes a teapot, tilting water kettle on stand, a covered sugar bowl, creamer, waste bowl and strainer. The pieces are hand chased with a scrolling floral pattern; the handles of the kettle and teapot are insulated with ebony wood. The pieces have the pictorial mark for Barbour Silver Co. along with "BSCEP", the numbers "5307" and a mark with 3 stars. There is a monogram on each piece. The kettle on stand measures 13 3/4 inches high to the handle of the kettle, and is 10 inches wide from the spout to the back of the pot. The teapot measures 4 3/4 inches high to the top of the handle and is 11 inches wide from handle to spout. The covered sugar bowl is 4 inches high to the finial on the cover and is 7 1/4 inches wide from handle to handle.
