Check the listing for details. Antique CARY - GOULD Circa 1830 Brass Pocket Microscope - Complete Set. Listed at 1350.00 USD. Very nice Cary Gould Pocket Microscope set complete in fitted Mahogany box with original accessories including Folded Instructions. The purple velvet lined box has a fitted lift out tray with the hinged lid which also accepts the screw in Microscope and becomes the base. All original parts are present with the exception of the tweezers and the key for the box lock. This model Cary Gould was considered the “ medium “ of the three sizes offered. There is a crack in the wood on the lid ( see images provided) and wear marks on the brass microscope. I have not polished the brass and everything is as found. The box measures 6 1/4’ in length , 4 1/4” width and stands 2” in height. This device was made to be used in the field and is in very good condition.
