These Vertical Feed machines are very interesting machine's. This is both a needle feed and walking foot model with no lower feed dogs, but the upper walking foot and a needle bar that moves the forwards and back to help move multiple layers of both thin and thicker fabrics together evenly. These are excellent machines for sewing quitl layers, nappy, and other difficult to sew fabrics like satin etc. The bobbin case works well.
