The front of this antique piece is ornamented with a chased scene depicting a male golfer in period costume with the supporting caddy and spectators in the background. The reverse of the case is plain and unembellished. This piece is fitted with a hinged sprung cover and ring loop attachment to the side. There is an integrated serrated panel/match striker to the underside. Condition This antique silver vesta case is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The decoration to this piece is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of this piece and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.
