This listing is for a gorgeous antique hand mirror with Sterling Silver heavily chased repousse design made by Gorham. The design includes numerous pattern details including bouquets of assorted flowers. The mirror has a large convex shaped cartouche in the center with fancy three-letter monogram that is possibly a "L O V". The frame has a round finger-hold handle. Frame is marked with the Gorham trademark stamp and "Sterling, C17". The silver frame is in very good to excellent Estate condition and reflects only minor signs of normal wear. There are a couple of faint dings on the rounded outer edge that are considered very minor. The mirror is beveled and fits tightly within the bezel although there is noted wear to the silver mirror backing. Overall this is an exceptional mirror and in wonderful condition. Measures 8 1/4" long with the mirror end measuring 5 1/2" in diameter. Weighs 281 grams (including mirror).
