Listing #759, I have for sale on bids a Silver Pan with a Brass Lid. ( I do not know what this item is, or was used for) The bottom pan portion is silver and the top lid is brass. The pan recesses into a counter top. It is 13" in diameter and the height from the bottom of the pan to the top of the eagle is 6". Stamped on the bottom of the pan is "J. (Crown) F. E.P.N.S. 5410". I was guessing that maybe this is an incense burner but it seems large for this. My other thought was a baptismal dish. If you know what it is, let me know and make me an offer.
