I have three very similar bowls of for auction. When I bought them, I was told that they were Middle Eastern and antique. They certainly have been well used. I think they were originally silver plated and now you see the copper the base of the bowl. The ball is 8 inch diameter and one and a quarter inch tall. It’s got a hanging loop on the back and it does have a hallmark although a lot of it is worn away it looks like an animal paw print I’m not sure what else.
