Up for sale is a rare antique terrestrial world globe made late 19th century.the circular base is made of an ebonized wood with a very ornate mounted cast iron cover.it has a routed wooden shaft that holds the thick brass arm and all have acquired a nice patina from age.the arm holds the spherical globe that is a newer replacement and is also mounted with wooden ends.it's in nice antique condition and measures 22 inches tall, is has a 12 inches globe but can hold up to a 14 inch globe.the wooden shaft does have a slight crack as seen in last photo.
