It has a stamp that reads Roger’s smith& co New Haven Connecticut which would date this basket between 1862 to 1877 when they were in operation in New Haven Connecticut. This rare basket is in good condition for its age. It has tarnish as seen in pics that can be polished away or kept as-is. It has Greek medallions and what looks like griffin looking feet. Unless noted, all my items are acquired through estate finds, acquisitions and other second hand buying. These are NOT new items (unless noted) and are not expected to be in mint condition.
