This is an Antique Silver 19th Century Dutch Spice / Snuff Box The bottom is stamped with the Lion Passant Mark which indicates the second standard purity = minimum purity of 833/1000 There is no makers stamp, assay office mark, or letter date mark. These Dutch stamps were used in 1814 till 1953. This snuff box measures approximately 1 1/2'' long by 1 1/8'' wide by 1 3/4'' tall, and weighs approximately 22.7 grams. This item has been previously owned. There are dents on the item, and some tarnish. It will be sold AS IS! Please view photos.
