This sale is for a group of 42 antique tiles as pictured. There are 30 green triangle tiles that can make fifteen 3" squares and 12 rectangular tiles that each measure 1 1/2" x 3". Some triangles are marked "Cambridge" on the back and some of the rectangles are marked with the "AETCO" company symbol. AETCO stands for American Encaustic Tile Company in Zanesville, Ohio 1895-1910. Each tile is one of a kind with a natural crackle across the glazed surface. There is mortar on some edges and chips in some edges which are a testament to the age of these pieces. Study the pictures carefully as there are no returns.
