This is a lovely Silver Quadruple plate sugar and creamer set made by the Van Bergh Silver Plate Co. out of Rochester, New York. This set includes a sugar bowl ( no lid), a creamer pitcher and a tray. There is a pretty design on the sides and an ornate edge around all pieces. The sugar bowl has some little dents on the bottom , the Creamer has a small dent on its side. The tray does not sit totally flat. The silver plate finish is in very good condition on all pieces. See photos. The pieces have the Van Bergh hallmark. (The creamer has the most legible .) They are marked Patent May 10, 1898. The Van Bergh company was founded by brothers Frederick W. And Maurice H. Van Bergh. The company became Incorporated in 1925, and finally merged with Oneida in 1926.
