This is an original antique (very early 20th century) solid oak artist easel with scalloped front edge on the tray and oak framed top. It might have once been attached to a stand, but now has a hanging wire on the back for wall mounting. However, it would work best on a stand. Condition is very good. There are some scratches, scuffs, and small nicks in the surface from use, and some faint stains. It has probably been refinished at some point. The panel with the frame around it has a crack along the edge, but nothing is loose. There are newer replacement screws underneath holding the tray in place. The entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. The easel measures 20 1/2" L x 16" H x 3" D and will be packed securely and insured during shipping.
