The body of this antique silver goblet is embellished with exceptionalchased rose and thistle designs amidst foliage. The decoration to the body incorporates a leaf bordered vacant cartouche. The drinking vessel surmounts a plain swept knopped cylindrical pedestal. The foot is embellished with further chased foliage ornamentation accented with an opposing scrolling border to the incurved collet style rim. Condition This antique silver goblet is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The chased decoration is all very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the goblet are all veryclear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
