The family started making wooden toys in Billund Denmark before they transitioned to plastic in the 1960’s. This was originally a pull toy. It no longer has the pull string mechanism but it does still roll quite well. This is a wonderful addition to any LEGO collectors collection. Very rare and hard to come by in this good of a condition. The LEGO label is no longer on this piece unfortunately. Because of the age it isn’t uncommon for the label to have fallen off and the older pieces actually didn’t come with the LEGO because some were made before LEGO actually adopted the name LEGO for their brand.
