It enables users to safely place their fixture flat on the ground without the risk of the fixture tipping over, even with a CF16 Fresnel attached to the front of the light. This skid features a cutout at the rear which allows for clearance of the STORM XT52's head cable when users are tilting the fixture up and down on a stand. With this Skid mounted, the STORM XT52 with its head cable, a CF16 Fresnel, and CF16 Barn Doors attached can sit safely on a head cart or shelf.
