Air Commander Arthur Edmond Clouston [1908 1984] was a prominent British test pilot and senior Royal Air Force officer who took part in air races and set record breaking flights in the 1930's. Clouston joined the RAF in 1930 and was promoted to flying officer performing formation aerobatics until 1935 when he accepted a position as a civilian test pilot where he flew the latest aircraft from the top British aircraft builders. Beginning in 1935 he set numerous speed records and during World War II he served as a Wing Commander with the RAF. Listed for auction is the autograph of Arthur Edmond Clouston signed on a card. The autograph is signed ''A.E. Clouston All Cape Records 1-12-37'' in blue fountain pen. The card measures 5.00 X 3.00 inches, it has trivial toning otherwise it is in fine condition and will be accompanied with its original transmittal envelope.
