They feature materials with vibration dampening qualities and are chemically resistant to contaminates such as road salt, grease, oil, acidic cleaning solvents, hydraulic fluid and diesel fuel. “The properties of Polyurethane are so superior in almost all of their physical properties, that rubber is really NOT a good competitor... it simply can't compete.” Dr. Jerry Plunkett, PhD Metallurgy/Material Sciences, MIT As one of the world's leading material experts, Dr. Plunkett knows what thousands of ATRO Engineered Systems' customers already know: ATRO polyurethane components for heavy-duty trucks, trailers and buses dramatically outperform the same parts using traditional rubber while improving vehicle ride quality and reducing stress on related components. That's the basis on which ATRO was formed. But it's just the beginning. ATRO's patented designs, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, extensive aftermarket distributor network and OEM customer base make us an industry leader developing products which improve performance, eliminate downtime and help control costs. With the obvious advantage polyurethane has over rubber, combined with our continuous improvements through innovative world-class processes, ATRO truly delivers solutions that mold your future.ATRO Warranty Policy Most ATRO product is backed by a three-year parts warranty (see below for conditions and exceptions). During the warranty period beginning with the date of installation, ATRO will replace defective product at no charge. ATRO warranties defective product only. Product that has remained on the vehicle past the warranty period or product not sold by ATRO is not covered under warranty. ATRO’s liability is limited to the replacement of defective product and conditional labor reimbursement through an authorized ATRO distributor. A product is determined to be defective if a polyurethane to metal bond breaks, an internal component fit is loose, or if the product exhibits obvious signs of wear that will lead to premature failure under normal use. Overloading of the product or any other abnormal use voids warranty. EXCEPTIONS TO WARRANTY: MIXING ATRO POLYURETHANE PRODUCT WITH RUBBER PRODUCT OR COMPETITIVE POLYURETHANE PRODUCT WITHIN THE SAME APPLICATION VOIDS ALL WARRANTY.Three Year WarrantyATRO Suspension Parts (unless specified in one year warranty section below)ATRO Underhood Parts ATRO Front Suspension Kits starting with SK##-##### ATRO Standard Torque Rods1 (except small eye style2) One Year WarrantyATRO Sway Bar Assemblies ATRO Bumper Pads ATRO Torque Rods, small eye style2 ATRO Hendrickson Pads (numbered as LP50-#####) ATRO Equalizer Bushing Kits (if correctly aligned during installation) ATRO Front Suspension bushings starting with SP##-##### ATRO Transit Bus Parts Non-standard/customer applications and installation tools are not subject to warranty. 1 Standard Torque Rods are rods with 2 3/4” ID eye 2 Small Eye Torque Rods are rods with 2” ID eye (prior to January 2012 they were designated “tubular style”) The difference from other Polyurethane Brands
