Your New AAA Solitaire Switch Assembly is shipped pre-assembled and requires some disassembly. The two major components the Upper Receptacle #9 and Lower Receptacle #13 must be separated to install. The Lower Receptacle with the Center Contact #11 and Side Contact #12 is also known as the Lower Sub-Assembly. The Side Contact #12 is a loose component use caution during disassembly of the Switch Assembly and Installation. We recommend performing your installation on a clean, flat and well illuminated work area. ***Caution; By design the Side Contact #12 is fitted loosely into the Lower Receptacle. First locate the metallic edge of the Side Contact in the groove created between the Upper and Lower Receptacles to avoid damaging component. Then holding the Assembly upright with the larger of the plastic components on the bottom separate the Receptacles. Please read instructions before attempting install.
