Check the listing for details. Beautiful Gold Finished Repoussé Cake Riser Circa 1900. Color: Gold, Condition: Used. Listed at 799.00 USD. This exquisite, footed, repouss cake stand dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. It appears to be gold filled over silver. It is without doubt gold finished. It is 14" in diameter and stands 5.25" tall. It is solid at nearly 4 pounds. It is in great condition. It has no dents, deep scratches, or other damage. It has a lovely patina, but that could be removed if you choose to do so. It could definitely be polished. This stand was found inside a historic building on Garrison Avenue in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The 12 block grand thoroughfare was laid out by city founder John Rogers in 1838. The building this was found in looks to have been built in 1859. This is an absolutely stunning and rare piece! A gorgeous example of turn of the century craftsmanship. Thanks for having a look at my listing. I certainly appreciate you. Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback. I will respond as promptly as possible.
