Included will be 1 brand new ROM chip to complete the upgrade. The DSP1124P itself is not for sale, only the ROM upgrade chip will be supplied. Upgrade version 1.4 aims to resolve MIDI control issues, particularly with remote calibration as well as improve upon general stability and over-all firmware code cleanups. To check and see what version is currently installed in your DSP1124P: Turn on the unit while holding the FILTER SELECT button. Installing is pretty straightforward. Take a moment to gently scrape and remove the existing hot glue that Behringer put to secure the EPROM to the mainboard. Once the original EPROM is removed, simply insert the new 1.4 EPROM in place, keeping special attention that the orientation notch of the ROM is facing up just as the previous ROM chip was.
