Precision cnc turned aircraft aluminum tracking wheel for 2x72" belt grinder. The wheel is 3" in diameter & crowned to ensure accurate belt tracking. (4" tracking wheels offer no advantage, they're heavy & soak up energy unnecessarily). We make our wheels 2-1/4" wide to accept any commercial 2" grinding belt. Includes sealed bearings which can easily be replaced when worn.Bore of the bearings is 1/2" so you can use any 1/2" diameter bolt as an axle.BE WEARY OF CHEAP HAND TURNED TRACKING WHEELS, THEY HAVE A SHARP V INSTEAD OF A CROWN. THIS V IS DUE TO MANUAL MACHINING RESTRICTIONS, THEY CAN'T MACHINE A CROWN ON A HAND LATHE. THE V IS HARD ON BELTS, UNTIL IT WEARS AWAY PREMATURELY, RENDERING THE WHEEL USELESS. THE HAND TURNED WHEELS ARE ALSO ONLY 2" WIDE. We use these wheels in our top quality grinders & have tested them extensively.
