Offered is one of those things that when found,all you can say is,"Damn,a miniature space shuttle!"This solid brass compressed air nozzle was recovered while searching for old bottles in Arkansas,it dates from the 1920s or earlier.While it was a functional design when first manufactured,it resembles at a glance the Shuttle or some other retro Spaceship,complete with the shorter,rear set wings!The item is 5 3/4"long(or tall),is 4"wide at end(including the "wings"),has an opening in the front nose,and a 2"tall hose connector coming out of the top rear.The entire surface is covered with a rustic,dark green patina,the result of being exposed to minerals in the ground for many years.
